What about Barambah Organic – all-natural full fat yoghurt – I haven’t scanned it yet but watched a video regarding what yoghurts not buy and the two best Yoghurts to buy in terms of most natural , best for you – also Mungali Biodyanic natural organic yoghurt was the other best option. These are organic…the ones listed as top 10 in your list – are they organic?

Good to see a Yeo Valley one at the top but what about other organic makes like Brown Cow, Odysea, Riverford and the Sojade soya one? Some of us take note of pesticide/herbicide/fungicide residues etc. Someone else’s point about avoiding plastic pots in favour of glass jars is a good one!

Fat free means higher carbs! Go for the 5% fat option-this is healthy fat which keeps you full and has no bearing on heart disease!

It would be even better if you added brands using glass rather then plastic packaging such as river cottage. Their yoghurt os organic too.

What on earth would you want to eat fat free yoghurt for it’s not normal. The process is interfering with something natural. Do a review on full fat please

Hi and thank you for the information.
I was surprised that non of the recommended yogurts were organic. I always try to opt for organic milk and yogurt (not sure why but I don’t for cheese). Do you have a view/information on whether organic yogurt is healthier than non-organic?
    Thank you.

This is good to see that Yeo and Waitrose are at the top, I get both but always the full fat versions. Waitrose No.1 Natural Strained Greek Yogurt with 10% fat as it’s a family favourite. Waitrose dairies never took part in the Bovaer trial so I am happy to buy their dairy products when I shop there.

Research has shown that natural fats are linked with better metabolic health, reduced inflammation, and lower risk of chronic disease. We must not confuse healthy fats with the harmful industrial trans fats & highly processed vegetable oils. I was surprised to see you evaluating fat free yogurt vs the healthier full fat version.

      Hi Fiona,
The full-fat Greek yogurts tend to rate in the sixities because of the saturated fat content. However, if you’d like to see a full-fat version anyway, please let us know by emailing us at team@yuka.io!

Fat free? Why? Yogurt naturally has fat which is important and good for you, hence considering you concentrate on advising people on healthy products you should do a review of proper, full fat yogurts with live and active cultures. I find M&S Greek style natural yogurt and 10% fat authentic Greek yogurt the best of all.

Nothing wrong with a fat-free option. If you’re already getting enough fat in your diet elsewhere. I consume fat-free greek yogurt primarily for its protein content

      Hi Nick,

Fat is absolutely essential for the body, and we completely agree on its importance 😊

Featuring fat-free products in this list doesn’t mean that fats are “bad” or should be avoided. It simply reflects how the products are ranked based on specific criteria.

Shouldn’t we be promoting natural greek yogurt rather than fat free which is less natural? Removing the fat doesn’t necessarily make it healthier.
